It's beginning to look at lot like...
Prom time.
My daughter is a senior in high school. The prom is quickly approaching. Early June. So, all the sit down's begin:
- booking the limo
- looking for a dress
- where will they go after prom
- where will they go in the day(s) after prom...
Not only is there prom, but, then there is the senior picnic, and senior cut days. Yes, days. Not just one day. argh!
Anyway, the limo booking is underway. We are talking about a group of 17 kids (girls and guys). They were going to get a Hummer stretch, but, the price was $3,260. No go for so many of the kids. It's just not feasable. So, tonight, they found a stretch Excursion, for $2,000, and knocked down the group for 17, to 13. This will be the one they go with, and it will be booked this weekend.
It seems that these 'fancy' cars are the rage...not the usual Lincoln Town car limo, or Caddy limo. The kids want these stretch SUV type limo. I'm just glad that they found something more reasonable...very glad.
Next up - prom dress shopping. Jen and I are looking forward to spending time together doing that. Then, there will be shopping for shoes, purse, stockings....making appointments for hair, nails...etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. :)
